GUA KELAM (KELAM CAVE)
One of the most distinctive caves in is a 370m long limestone cave near the small town of Kaki Bukit (literally 'foot hill'), called Gua Kelam (Cave of Darkness). Located about 33km north of the state capital Kangar, Gua Kelam Recreational Park is popular for its enchanting 'cave walk'.
WANG BURMA CAVE
Wang Burma, the main attraction at the Wang Kerlian State Park, is divided into two main caves. One is Wang Burma Satu where abundance of amazing rock formations like stalactites and stalagmites can be found, and the other is Wang Burma Dua, which requires one to be both physically and mentally fit before venturing into its darkness.
TIMAH-TASOH LAKE
The scenic Timah-Tasoh Lake is also a sanctuary for migratory birds especially from the cold countries as this freshwater lake its natural surroundings provides food and shelter.
MELATI LAKE
Located north of Kangar town, Tasik Melati is a small but picturesque lake located in a partially marshy lowland. The lake got its name from the abundance of lotus.
PADANG BESAR
This border town is the merging point for Thais and Malaysians. Many Malaysian travel up to Thailand through this point on shopping, business or recreational trips. Beyond the rail tracks is Pekan Siam, bargain-hunters'paradise. The town is filled with textiles, clothing, handicraft, foodstuff, fruits and souvenirs.

The Wang Kelian State Park is a haven for nature lovers and eco-tourism enthusiasts as it contains one of the few semi-deciduous tropical forest in the country, similar to the ones across the border in Thailand.
