This is a popular hot spring with a recreational park on the outer end of the Kinabalu National Park

TANJUNG ARU BEACH
Located just outside the Kota Kinabalu, this beach offers a lot of interesting activities for visitors to indulge in.

MOUNT KINABALU

Opening Hours: 7.00am to 10.00pm (Kinabalu Park)
Among the highest mountain in Southeast Asia with an altitude of 4,095m (13,455 ft).  Climbs to the peak can be completed in two days.

SANDAKAN
This town presents an interesting mix of ethnic cultures and is also the gateway to the Sepilok Orang Utan Sanctuary  and Kinabatangan River.

DANUM VALLEY CONSERVATION AREA
One of several wilderness areas in Sabah, this vast rainforest  is home to many large animals.

TURTLES ISLAND PARK

Permission to visit the Park must be obtained from Sabah Parks and is currently co-ordinated by the sole agency of Crystal Quest, located at Sabah Park Jetty in Sandakan.  This is an island where conservation efforts for endangered sea turtles take place.

PULAU SIPADAN

Its mesmerising underwater beauty is claimed by many divers to be the best in the world.

GOMANTONG CAVES

Opening Hours: 8.00am to 6.00pm
Populated with millions of swifts and bats, it is enthralling to see the creatures leave the cave to feed.

MENGAYAU BAY (THE TIP OF BORNEO)
The northwestern tip of Borneo offers spectacular views of the sea surrounding islands.

TURTLE ISLAND PARK
This is an island where conservation efforts for endangered sea turtles take place.

SEPILOK ORANG UTAN SANCTUARY

This unique place is one of the few Orang Utan conservation areas in the world.

NORTH BORNEO RAILWAY

Visiting Hours: Tour Departs Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10.00am and ends at 1.45pm

This is the only rail service in this part of the country and it offers an excellent opportunity to see rural Sabah at its best.

MALIAU BASIN CONSERVATION AREA

The area has one of the oldest rainforest in the world.

KINABATANGAN RIVER
Take a trip down Kinabatangan River and get a glimpse of the state's wildlife, which include then rare Pygmy elephants and Proboscis monkeys.

PADAS AND KIULU RIVERS
Men against nature.  Try out the rapids here for some white water rafting adventure.  Grades range from 2 to 4

KAMPUNG BAVANGGAZO (RUNGUS LONGHOUSE)

Experience the communal lifestyle of the Rungus people at this village situated near Kudat.

TUNKU ABDUL RAHMAN PARK
This marine park consist five island off the coast of Kota Kinabalu and attracts many visitors who come to swim, dive, snorkel and just spend the day by the sea.

TABIN WILDLIFE RESERVE

The Borneo Pygmy Elephant and the Sumatran Rhinoceros can be found at this reserve, which is located close to Tawau.

MONSOPIAD CULTURAL VILLAGE
Founded by the direct  descendants of Monsopiad, this living museum features among others, traditional village houses and a sacred house of skulls.

SABAH AGRICULTURAL PARK
Located at Lagud Sebrang, about 15km from Tenom town, the park extends over 1,500 acres and features beautiful orchids and garden landscape in specially designed Hoya Garden, Tenom Orchid Centre, native Orchid Centre and Hybrid Orchid Centre.  The Park has chalets facing a lake where you can also go fishing, boating and have a picnic.
